This book started out as an all-day series of sessions on the New Geographies of the UK Economy at the Royal Geographical Society with Institute of British Geographers (RGS-IBG) Annual Conference in London in August The sessions were co-organised with Mia Gray (University of Cambridge) who we thank for her enthusiasm in helping to get this project off the ground.
